It's been going pretty well. In prehistory, the Elder Elves thrived during a previous Age of the world, and created a magical laboratory under Firestorm Peak where they opened a gate to the Far Realm which opens every twenty-seven years. Over time, the bizarre physical laws and alien madness of the other dimension began to warp the areas underneath the mountain. Heck, it'd probably be even easier since 2E monster stats can convert to 5E monster stats fairly simply (with just a flip of the AC and a thought or two about how special properties adapt.) Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality. It focuses heavily on the rules from Combat & Tactics and Spells & Magic and gives somewhat less attention to those from Skills & Powers.
